Elaine O. Brabham, Broker-in-Charge Elaine Brabham and Associates Real Estate opened for business in November 2007 at 1850 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., in the Atlanta Bread Shopping Center. Elaine Ortner Brabham is the owner and broker-in-charge with a growing sales force.

Elaine is a native of Charleston and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston. Elaine launched her Real Estate career in sales in 1989 becoming a Top Producer and later became Co-owner of a successful Real Estate firm in Charleston for nine years. She subsequently opened up Elaine Brabham and Associates Real Estate. Elaine is a Graduate, Realtor Institute, and has earned the designations of Certified Residential Specialist and Accredited Buyer’s Representative.

Elaine is a Realtor of Distinction and a life member of the Million Dollar Club and the Round Table. She has served as Chairman of various committees of the Charleston Association of Realtors and served as Treasurer of The Charleston Top Producers Club. She helped organize the club and was its first President. Elaine volunteers with various charities, including Habitat for Humanity, and supports Crisis Ministries and The Ronald McDonald House.

Barbara Bruggemann

Barbara Bruggemann Barbara Bruggemann looks forward to helping her clients find their true dream home in Charleston!

Barbara earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from The University of South Carolina. With 20 years of federal service, she retired from the U.S. Attorney's Office, Criminal Division, in Columbia, S.C., and the United States Attorney's Office, Civil Division, in Miami, FL. In 2001-2006, she worked with the S.C. Education Lottery in Columbia, S.C.

Barbara has done volunteer work with the Centurions, an advisory group with the S.C. Cancer Center and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

She is married and has one daughter who lives in Mt. Pleasant and is in Medical Sales.

Beth Plante

Beth Plante Beth Plante’s specialty is working with first-time home buyers and people relocating to the Lowcountry. Beth is a graduate of the University of Michigan with degrees in Education and Psychology. Since her family has moved several times, she has lots of experience in the buying, selling and flipping process. A 14-year resident of James Island, she has gained in in-depth understanding of the Charleston area real estate market.

Beth, whose family includes her husband, Craig, and three children, Leah, Rebecca and Nathan, has been selling real estate since early 2004. She is a licensed Realtor, an accredited Buyer’s Representative and a member of the Charleston Top Producers Club and the Exodus Relocation Network.

Carol Collins

Carol Collins Carol Vann Collins was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC and first began her involvement with real estate working with the family-owned construction and real estate company. In 1986, a property management opportunity brought her to Charleston and it has been home ever since. Looking for an opportunity to expand her horizons, she spent thirteen years in higher education administration with Johnson & Wales University and Charleston Southern University. She has a bachelor of science in finance and a masters in business administration from Charleston Southern University. For the past seven years, Carol has used her experience and education working with a regional publishing company as director of operations.

Carol lives with her husband of 21 years, Critt and has a son Ryan. Ryan may no longer live at home but the family dog, a German Shorthair Pointer named Clancy, benefits from the additional attention he receives.

Carol is an active member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. When she is not working or taking care of the family nothing is better than putting her jet ski in the water, enjoying the sun and exploring the waterways in Charleston.

Lisa Stine

Lisa Stine Lisa Stine, who was raised in the Pittsburgh area, is a big Steeler and Franco Harris fan and an animal lover. She moved to Charleston in 1982 and worked as a designer on Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. The love of her life is her husband, Steven. She has three children, all students at the School of the Arts: Melanie, a senior; Brittany, a sophomore; and Lee, a sixth grader. She also has two stepdaughters: Alee and Lana.

Lisa is an animal activist and loves dogs, especially her own pet Harley, a “Benji” mix from the SPCA. She also has a cat, Indy, and four turtles. She volunteers at Pet Helpers on James Island, plays softball and tennis and is an active member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Lisa is an avid motorcyclist, riding with her husband on their Harley Fat Bob, and she also is an artist and decorative painter. She specializes in murals in homes, especially children’s rooms.

Kathy Khalil

Kathy Khalil Kathy Saboe Khalil’s goal is to provide professional service with a personal touch, and she enhances her ability to reach that goal by regularly attending real estate seminars and classes.

A 1993 graduate of the College of Charleston with a bachelor’s in Mathematics, she specializes in helping her clients buy and sell homes in Folly Beach, James Island, Johns Island and West Ashley. Her resume includes experience with First Realty of Charleston, where her responsibilities included helping clients with real estate transactions, marketing listings, facilitating closings and performing marketing research.

Kathy also has worked as an office manager; at the Naval Electronics Systems Engineering Center in North Charleston as an electronics engineering aide; at TDS, Inc. as an electronics technician and as a computer programmer; and at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in North Charleston as a project engineer and as an electromagnetic environmental effects branch head.

Kathy has served as president and vice president of the Trident Area Youth Soccer Association; as a youth, high school and adult soccer league official; and as a volunteer monitoring students in the classroom and on the playground. Her interests include walking, jogging, cycling, pilates, yoga, weight lifting, tennis, golf, reading, digital photography, graphic design, Web development and walking on the beach.

Margaret Kilgallen

Margaret Kilgallen Margaret Kilgallen is a University of Maryland graduate with a B.A. in Advertising. She spent several years in the advertising industry in Washington, DC. Kilgallen started her real estate investing career straight out of college settling on her first home 3 months after graduation. She later sold that investment to finance her two-year sabbatical in Europe. Returning home, Kilgallen started her own advertising and marketing firm. After securing a large advertising contract she invested in the purchase and restoration of a historic 1910 Sears & Roebuck cottage.



Margaret moved to Charleston in 1994 with husband Jamie Kilgallen. She has spent the past decade as a freelance marketer specializing in the commercial construction industry. “My mission as a business woman is to create a positive path to success for my clients…, to go beyond the obvious to reach our stated goal. In my home it’s called the “CAN DO” approach and I’m ready when you are!” Kilgallen is a volunteer with the Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR), Footlight Players, SPACE and chairwomen for several educational committees.

Ron Rash

Ron Rash A native of St. Paul's Parish in southwest Charleston County, Ron Rash joined the world of real estate after 31 years of federal service, mostly with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He also served in Washington, D.C., for two years as a legislative assistant to a U.S. congressman.

Ron, who graduated from St. Paul's High School on Yonges Island, was president of his senior class and captain of the basketball team. In his senior year, he was the fifth leading scorer in the Charleston area and was named a second-team all-star by the News and Courier.

Ron earned a bachelor’s in History and Political Science from Newberry College, where he authored a column on politics in the Newberrian, the college newspaper. He also was instrumental in establishing the SC College Young Republicans and served as president of the Newberry College Republican Club.

Ron was active in intramural sports and served as the Newberry College mascot – The Indian – for two years. He has taught history and government in public schools and has been a basketball, football and track coach.

Sean Hethington Born and raised in Charleston—making him an authentic native—Sean Hethington is uniquely qualified for the real estate business.
